Guided Fishing
We offer fully guided fishing trips on Blue Mesa Reservoir and Morrow Point Reservoir, May - September for trophy Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Kokanee Salmon, and Lake Trout. We also offer ice fishing trips on Blue Mesa Mid December-Mid March.
Blue Mesa
Located just 10 minutes west of Gunnison, Colrado, Blue Mesa spans over 20 miles and has more than 90 miles of shoreline, making it the largest body of water in Colrado. It's waters reach more than 350 feet deep and have provided Colorado with the last three state record lake trout. The latest a 50 lb monster. Our Blue Mesa trips are on a fully equipped 20 foot nitro with a 150 hp mercury engine. We will primarily troll for a multi speacies trip, but can target whichever fish you desire.
Morrow Point
Nestled in the beginning of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Morrow Point is as scenic as it is fun to fish. After meeting in the Pine Creek parking lot just off Highway 50, a brief 1 mile hike leads customers to this picturesque 12 mile reservoir. Weekend Warrior Outdoors, as the official concessionaire of Curecanti National Recreation Area, has the sole docking rights for fishing boats on Morrow Point. Only hand carried water crafts will compete for this truly unique fishing experience. Overnight trips are available for the adventure seekers as well.
-4 Hour trips $325 for up to four people
-6 Hour trips $450 for up to four people
(more than 4 requires a pontoon boat)
-6 Hour ice trip $250 for up to 4 people
-$25 for each additional person
Open water trips are usually trolling with downriggers and lead core lines.
Water and light snacks provided.
WHAT TO BRING: Lunch if desired, clothing for warm and cold weather, sunscreen, Colorado Fishing License (available for purchase at Marina), cooler for fish if you want to keep any!

Trips start at either Elk Creek Marina or Lake Fork Marina between 6:00am and 7:00am.

WHAT TO BRING: Clothing for warm and cold weather, sunscreen, Colorado Fishing License , cooler for fish if you want to keep any, extra snacks if desired, Remember everything has to be carried in and our guides are already carying gas and water!

Trips start at Pine Creek Parking area between 6:00am and 7:00am.
Overnight Trips will be provided dinner (fish fry) and breakfast as well as two sack lunches.
Tent's, sleeping bags, and basic camping gear also provided.
$200 deposit required on all trips. Deposit will only be refunded if trip is cancelled more than 5 days in advance.
